Twincam Supercharged

4A-GZE

The 4A-GZE (produced in various forms from 1986 through 1995) was the supercharged version. Based on the same block and head, the 4A-GZE was equipped with a roots-type supercharger and therefore the compression ratio, valve timing and ports were modified. It was used in the supercharged AW11 Toyota MR2, rated at 145 hp (108 kW) and 140 ft·lbf (190 N·m). Later versions of this engine are rated 165 hp (127 kW) and 155 ft·lbf (210 N·m) for the AE92 and AE101 Corolla.

These engines are also popular for a turbo conversion, as many parts don't need to be modified to support the extra boost.

Whats a Rose

A rose is a flowering shrub of the genus Rosa, and the flower of this shrub. There are more than a hundred species of wild roses, all from the northern hemisphere and mostly from temperate regions. The species form a group of generally prickly shrubs or climbers, and sometimes trailing plants, reaching 2–5 metres tall, rarely reaching as high as 20 metres by climbing over other plants.

The name originates from Latin rosa, borrowed through Oscan from colonial Greek in southern Italy: rhodon (Aeolic form: wrodon), from Aramaic wurrdā, from Assyrian wurtinnu, from Old Iranian *warda (cf. Armenian vard, Avestan warda, Sogdian ward, Parthian wâr).

Rose hips are sometimes eaten, mainly for their vitamin C content. They are usually pressed and filtered to make rose hip syrup, as the fine hairs surrounding the seeds are unpleasant to eat (resembling itching powder). They can also be used to make herbal tea, jam, jelly and marmalade. A rose that has aged or gone rotten may not be particularly fragrant, but the rose's basic chemistry prevents it from producing a pungent odor of any kind. Notably, when balled and mashed together the fragrance of the rose is enhanced. The fragrance of particularly large balls of mashed roses is enhanced even further. Rose hips are also used to produce an oil used in skin products. Rose shrubs are often used by homeowners and landscape architects for home security purposes. The sharp thorns of many rose species deter unauthorized persons from entering private properties, and may prevent break-ins if planted under windows and near drainpipes. The aesthetic characteristics of rose shrubs, in conjunction with their home security qualities, makes them a considerable alternative to artificial fences and walls

My Starsign (Pisces)

Mythology

In mythology Pisces is often associated with Helen of Troy, from the legend of the Trojan War. Pisces is also associated with the Greco-Roman god Poseidon/Neptune and sometimes also the gods Zeus/Jupiter, Morpheus, and Thor and the goddess Tyche/Fortuna.

The basis for the mythology surrounding Pisces has its origins in the story of Aphrodite and Eros being chased into a river by the Titan Typhoon. Aphrodite was unable to save herself and her newborn son. She shouted for help, only to be saved by a Trojan warrior who was blessed to turn into two fish. The warrior prayed to Poseidon and transformed into the fish and saved the Goddess and her son, as a rewards Aphrodite raised the warrior to the heavens as the ruler of the twelfth house.

The Indian equivalent of Pisces is Meena; the Chinese equivalent is the Rabbit.

Relations with other element signs

Water signs are seen as being complementary to the earth signs who provide them with the stability that they need to develop, whilst the water signs allow the earth signs to work more effectively. Although water signs are often, according to astrological theory, attracted to fire signs because of their ardent, passionate character, in general water signs will eventually find fire signs much too rude, outspoken, and honest to be comfortable with them. Water signs are supposed to have strong aversity, even hatred, for air signs, whose personalities they regard as shallow, uncaring, cold, and excessively worldly, though sometimes an air sign can balance out the traits of a water sign (thus creating a great friendship).

Exaltation

Pisces: Very fecund and prolificall, being the House of Jupiter and exaltation of Venus, its Signe of many Children."
